It was during this segment that whatever trace investment I might've mustered in the fight's outcome was thrown out the window as CG made clear Jill was going to win, all opposing factors be damned. Indeed, I was so upset by how obtuse the interference was that I jotted down an abstract for an in-universe book detailing a conspiracy theory about how Nefarious Powers had plotted to rig the match and eliminate Samus for good.

Newton's First Law of Motion states that an object in motion will remain in motion until imposed upon by an external force. Thus begs the question: If you are using high-velocity projectile weaponry in an open ring within a live arena, where do the missed shots end up? My answer is at once a) self-evident, b) a means of proving that of course those panels aren't a cheap copy-paste, you presumptuous cretin, and c) gonna hammer it in that spectators died to bring you this catfight.

I was aware of the irony of using orange text for Jill, and even before Omega's post was plotting ways to follow it up later. It only took five pages, but we finally have a full JoJo reference!
