Junicorn 2022 #25 - Onyx by @fragmented_imagination (B Sanders)
"Onyx unicorns represent some of the tamest of the mineral unicorns of our world. Mostly gentle in temperament, they seldom seem inclined to do physical harm even if provoked. Most believe that this is because the onyx unicorns currently in known existence are so long-lived that they simply treat any irritation as something that can be brushed off. They prefer rocky environments and often find a cave convenient to live in rather than remaining with the vein of rock they were born from. Human encroachment is often looked upon with neglect, and onyx unicorns hardly feel the need to resist being approached or even touched by humans. They hide their glassy onyx interior under a rock shell, but, over the years, accidents and encounters with predators or other unicorns tend to leave large chips missing from their shell. This can give them a frightening appearance, especially when a whole limb is missing."
This one wasn't a particularly clean rush job, and I think I could have done more with the texture if I had a little more time. Still, the fact that it is more texture than most of my other rush jobs makes it feel a little more finished than the others.
