Octav and Jessica by @Sedo (Nara Van Rossum)
Left it basicly uncoloured... My first real attemt at anime style in the longest time... I did it last summer... haven't done much anime wise since.
Theres (of course) a story behind it... Jessica, a girl living in Montreal and who is shared between her overyly talkative mother and her religiously silent father, (devorced, you can see why!). On her way to her Father's for the week, she stops in front of a shop where she hears Stairway to Heven playing. A hole suddenly opens up beneath her. She only feels herself fall two inches but the world around her jumps up out of sight. She is left in a dead forest. White sickly trees are all that there is for miles. Lost in the woods she finds a boy sitting by a bonfire. He tells her to to get lost; "I'm a Touchstone... Kick me and leave!", but she stays and helps him with his wounds against his will. Eventualy he gives in, "You know, you're as good as dead now... but... but... thanks." She fallows him because at least with him she isn't as lost. They get captured and almost sold as slaves, but help each other and the other slaves to safety. Their relationship evolves from there. Octav's lack of trust, his self hatred, his lack of self esteem, his braveness and hidden ingenuity, meet with Jessica's fear of being alone, her self Identity issues, her stuburnness, her intutition and dedcation to others. Their's is a long story, spaning the entire crossesction of Octav's society, from coast to coast of his hidden continent. I could tell all of it... but I won't. :)
