My 41st submission to DYOS VI.

I can't actually recall if previous DYOSes had ever lasted through the Christmas season. In any event, I thought it'd be a nice way of fostering togetherness with a simple spread featuring all (or at least most) of the thread's contributors, sparking a tradition I continued and elaborated, particularly after DYOS 10. The holly and preamble would be reused for the free-form C+P specials in future, until I got the bright idea to do sustained episodes.

"Perfection never jokes" is a direct quote from the forums, although who said it in reply to what I don't recall. The Perma-Banned Guy used to be... a very common sight.
