Junicorn 2022 #21 - Bovine by @fragmented_imagination (B Sanders)
"Much more prominent when compared to other hybrids with unicorns, the bovicorn hybrids are quite common in plains and savanna regions of the world. They tend to have large shoulders and horns which mimic their bovine halves. Bovicorns have a relatively even, perhaps even relaxed temperament when dealing with humans, although this does not quite make them safer to approach. While they may appear to ignore humans, they have little patience with other creatures being nearby and often like to shoulder them to show discomfort. Their presence in grasslands actually aid full-bovine herds, as predators tend to not realize that a bovicorn is fast in spite of its unusual size and can trample a predator much easier than the rest of the herd. Ranchers will even invite bovicorns onto their feeding grounds to handle threats to their livestock. Some even keep bovicorns as rodeo stock, although this is highly dangerous since bovicorns not only detest being ridden, they have an astounding memory and will automatically try to gore humans which have ridden them.
A rush job in which I used features of an American bison to blend with a unicorn. I probably could have made those shoulders a little more prominent, and, if I had the time, I would have changed the outline to make it look like fluff found on a bison's shoulder.
