Lady Mage
Lady Mage by @Hoverlight (Alexandra Brandt)

I am not going to bore you with the long tale of how I got this image as you see it now, I'm going to bore you with the short one. It started out as a doodle on lined paper during class, and I liked it so much I scanned it and erased the lines (with much frustration and suffering) and printed it out nice and big and inked it by hand. This proves that computers are very useful, but in the end good old pen and paper is the best (well, for me). Well then. Here is another character who has been swimming around in my head for some time - nameless as yet - and will probably end up in a story someday. She is a powerful (and beautiful) mage, with a lot of suffering and angst in her background. What fun.
