Life and Self - One
Life and Self - One by @wolverine (Rhiannon o' Forest)

This is the first in a set of three pictures I had to draw for art, as a symbol. We were meant to do a symbol of ourselves, but I liked doing one of the world today, so I combined the two. The wolf symbolises me.

The wolf is longing and being incomplete. The wings are a way to escape, but are broken and torn. The chain leads down to the thorns of harsh reality, while the drops are for all the pain, blood and tears that have come and are to come. The stars and moon are the destination and dream, but are far away and unreachable. The background is black for the bleakness of existance. Artwork © Copyright 2003 Kiara Gwynedd
