As HTV utilized the new CGI animation in their presentation in 1987, Teledu Cymru followed their footsteps soon after. Yet, they broke free of the blue rotating blocks of the West, and instead created some colourful rings behind their new, simplifed dragon emblem. This was the nighttime version, launched at the same time as their overnight service a year later.
