Tri-Colored Earrings by @Fyregryphoness (Chrissy Templin)

A dog dragon creature with golden horns and tri-colored earrings. Yep. =)

Anyway, this is nothing special. Just did this drawing to break in my new sketchbook. My shading stinks...I really need to work on it. :p

Colored with my crappy RoseArt colored pencils since I didn't want to use up my Prismacolors. The actual colored work is a bit more orangy/light brown than this.

In case anyone is curious how I colored it, I did a lot of layer (like in Photoshop, etc.). Below are the colors I used in the layering process in order...

True Orange Tan Grey Dark Grey Black (very slightly and in shaded areas) Brown (very slightly to darken some areas) Sky Blue (to darken a few areas)

For the ears:

Blush Pink Cerise Also used a some Tan and a small amount of purple for the shadows.

It just goes to show that you can obtain different color combinations with layering. :)
