Beaver River by @Anrui (Jessica Holden)

This is a diptych done of a portion of the Beaver River, near where I used to live.

The second, abstracted painting was done mostly by throwing a paint-covered rag at the canvas; no brush ever touched it. To paint the background I used a palette knife, and for the "trees" I splattered paint by flicking a paintbrush at it.
