Design Meme: The Red-Faced Pup
Design Meme: The Red-Faced Pup by @DetectiveRJ
Saw this meme going around Twitter and decided to have a shot with the red-faced pup from Balto 2: Wolf Quest. For context, the sequel has Balto have six pups with his love interest from the first movie, Jenna, and all but two are named.

Ironically, it turns out to be the two who have pretty unique designs and aren't just clones of their mother that miss out. Darn.

Obviously, there are a ton of fan versions of these two pups floating around in the Balto fandom but Kiona (originally belonging to catwhohas14tails) really caught on to the point that fans were convinced she was an official character. So, I naturally included her in the "fanon" section.

My own personal name for this pup was Baron (after the Red Baron, because sled dog owners back then were super fond of naming their dogs after war figures and he is red af so) and yep, I decided to go with the "biggest of his siblings' angle. lol

I would love to do a version with the other pup but no 'fanon' design really caught on like it did with this design. Oh well. oof
