A.K.A. the Microsoft Empire.

This is the earliest known flag design for @GenMarshall's Republic of Coruscant, posted December 2006. I'm not sure if it ever appeared in DYOS proper; it was eclipsed soon afterward by the Germanic tricolour in DYOS X. The original post describes the symbolism as follows:

• Japanese Kana - Republic of Coruscant
• Red - Ancient Chinese symbol of South and Fire. In Christianity, red represents the color of fire and so symbolizes the presence of God.
• Yellow - Association with Precious metals, along with gold. Symbolizes wealth. North.
• Blue - Honesty and trustworthiness. Water. West.
• Green - In Japan, green indicates safety and luxury. In ancient China, green was the symbol of East and Wood.
• White St. George's Cross - technology and the future. Peace.

Uploaded to the DYOS Wiki almost ten years to the day. The original used a more calligraphic font which I substituted with a simpler typeface.
