Not exactly what I had in mind when I mentioned doing a laying down picture, but oooh, I just love how the wings came out!

The left wing is supposed to be raised up, unlike the two on the right, but I'm not sure that comes through well enough.

I'm not sure whether he's just laying there for the heck of it or if he's hurt, though I was considering adding blood to the color version....
