Gordon and Distance by @Sedo (Nara Van Rossum)
A small part of the larger work... it was suposed to be a illustation for a picture book, done in ink wash. The proportions are wrong for Gordon, but I think ist still good. He's looking at the sunrise and a ship (which isnt visible due to croping ;) ) Its the niced up version of the opening panel for Ch2 distance. My first real attemt at ink washes, I got a 32 0n 40 so im happy.. tough I still hate how the sky turned out... I love the water though... I might try the same thing with 2bythesea. The Ship is coming soon. This is the text that was supposed to go in the white space on the left side: "On land I was a fallen mind... on the sea... there was the posibility that I was more. It was the answer, the only tue escape. That morning, Earth, my mother's grave, shut me out, and Ocean, my father's grave, slowly opened her door. She called to me with seaguls. I stood on the cliff between both worlds, closer to the edge than I had ever stood before. The sun glittered off the sails of the Saturn's Pay." What do you think? ^-^
