I work alone by @Scissorhands125 (Red Enger)

Well, for the past few days, i've been addicted to a book called Abarat. As in, i put it down to eat, sleep, draw, and babysit the cousins... The character Mendelson Shape interested me greatly, and though they gave a picture of him in the book, i wanted to draw him myself. The body structure just seemed so interesting.

This is the part where Mendelson (a younger version) is sitting on a rock, telling a stitchling "I work alone" While thinking about those lines, I came up with this.

Its a little rough, and its in a sketchbook, so the scan is not good. The pen is a bit too dark, and I'm not a fan of that...But all in all, I do like this picture....
