Considering a Crystalmouse has appeared on this gallery and mousicorns and pegamousies elsewhere, it wouldn't be surprising if you thought the Mousies were inspired by ponies, but that's not the full story. There also have been plenty of influences from other sources like the Care Bears. This fixed-up sketch can be considered a precursor to the [i]My Little Mousie[/i] series, an experimentation with a more shapely character and the positioning of the tummy symbol.
