Hero Forge - Industrial Anubite by @Thorvald (El Thorvaldo)

Back in December I stumbled on Hero Forge, which seems to be the best-quality and fullest-featured custom miniature maker on the Web. How I found it is lost to memory, but I had so much fun with it that I bit the bullet and registered an account, as it lets you save mockups for free.

Maybe it was just the Great War aesthetic acting me up, but way back when watching The Mummy Returns, it occurred to me that if the Old Gods can exert their influence millennia after their adherents are dead and buried, why wouldn't they pick up more contemporary garb? A thought experiment transcribing Classical cues into more modern dress was the foundation to what became the Black Guard in ATEN/IOT XIV. Ironically, my inability to find any reference for Egyptian military dress circa 1914 has held up the brainstormed sketches, and this sequence is the first putting the image to form.
