Art 2 Portfolio, Page 16 - 4D Grid (Attempt 3)
Art 2 Portfolio, Page 16 - 4D Grid (Attempt 3) by @albemcda (Albert McDaniel)

After learning how to draw 3D buildings using horizon lines and vanishing points, I began to wonder how to represent a 4D object. So I tried twice to draw a 4D building, with no success. This was my 3rd attempt, and I began by simply drawing a 4D grid - 4 vanishing points. I sat for a while, trying to figure out what to draw in it, but eventually gave up and shaded it like a checker board - a 4D checker board... I concluded that since you can represent 3D on a 2D sheet of paper, the only way to represent 4D would be in 3D sculpture (or collection of 2D pics describing a 3D sculpture).
