The Great Randomcritter Zero Wing Reenactment: Part 5 by @sparky_7th_chaos (Sparky the Seventh Chaos)
"Captain: Take off every 'Zig'!
Captain: You know what you doing.
Captain: Move 'Zig'.
Captain: For great justice."
This is the final part of a reenactment of Zero Wing, starring the Randomcritters.
I guess I should explain myself here, since this is the last part of my GRCZWRE. Well... the long and short of it is, I'm an Engrish fan, so of course I'd eventually catch wind of that Internet fad that involved Zero Wing, a poorly translated Sega Megadrive game created by the now-defunct company Toaplan. This fad involved putting phrases from the game – mostly the now-immortal proclamation "All your base are belong to us" – on random images, such as buildings, signs, and even simple buildings. The band The Laziest Men on Mars wrote a song called "Invasion of the Gabber Robots" that included music and quotes from the game, and then a guy with the handle Bad_CRC made a music video of "Invasion of the Gabber Robots" with a bunch of the doctored images. After that, the fad spread like wildfire for a while, but now it's gone back to being more or less a silly Internet in-joke. I was inspired, and decided to make my tiny and humble contribution to the legend that is All Your Base Are Belong To Us, thus taking on my greatest MS Paint project yet.
Or, maybe I'm just an insane little dragoness with too much time on her hands.
At any rate, here it be. It's taken me several months of on and off work to get this madness done. So, here they are... a select few Randomcritters representing the characters Captain, Mechanic, Operator, ZIG-01, and, of course, CATS.
My mind is a scary place to live sometimes. It really is.
